The Americans plan to organize a tournament for teams that did not qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

To somehow brighten up the bitterness from the failed qualifying tournament, in the US they plan to organize a tournament in which together with the hosts will play teams that have not won a ticket to the world championship.

The US Football Federation has already planned to send invitations to the national teams of Italy, the Netherlands, Ghana and Chile. Also considered options with the teams of Cote d'Ivoire, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Slovakia.

The tournament is scheduled to be held in the US between the end of the national championships and before the start of the 2018 World Cup finals.
