Famous English coach Harry Redknapp left the position of manager of Birmingham because of unsatisfactory results.

Birmingham fired his manager Harry Redknapp after six losses in all tournaments in a row.

70-year-old Redknapp led Birmingham for three games before the end of last season and thanks to the victories in the last two meetings helped the club avoid flying out of the Championship.

After that, the former coach of Tottenham and Portsmouth signed a one-year contract with the "blue", and in the summer the team was joined by 14 newcomers.

Nevertheless, this season, Birmingham lost seven out of ten matches in all tournaments, including the last six meetings, so the club's management decided to part with Redknapp.

After eight rounds Birmingham scored four points and is located on the penultimate place in the standings of the Championship.
