Defender of Newcastle Jamaal Lasselles in the near future will sign with the "magpies" a new five-year contract.
After Newcastle coach Rafael Benitez announced that he was going to stay on the shores of the Mystery for a long time, a similar decision was made by the captain of the "forty" Jamaal Lasselles, who agreed to sign the five-year contract he proposed.
Benitez appointed Lasselles captain of the team after the "magpie" flew out of the Premier League in 2016. Most experts believe that Jamaal is the ideal leader of the team, but as a defender does not correspond to the level of the elite English division.
The current contract of the 23-year-old football player was calculated before the summer of 2018.
