Last season, the former head coach of the "blue-garnet" Luis Enrique used Sergi Roberto on the right flank of the defense.
Nevertheless, everything changed with the arrival on the coaching bridge Ernesto Valverde. The Basque coach sees Roberto exclusively as a center-field player, therefore, with great competition in this position, he will be ready to sell Sergi in case of a corresponding offer.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, given the transfer of Paulino, Barcelona agrees to part with Roberto. The player is claimed by several clubs from the Premier League, including Manchester United and Chelsea, and Serie A - Juventus and Milan.
The approximate cost of Sergi is 40 million euros.
Earlier it was reported that Roberto himself was thinking about leaving Barcelona.
