Jose Mourinho said that next season, Manchester United will not have a vice-captain.
After the departure of Wayne Rooney in Everton, the captain's armband Manchester United moved to Michael Carrick. At the same time, the Red Devils did not announce the candidacy of the vice-captain.
"We do not have a vice-captain, the captain is enough. Obviously, the captain's armband belongs to Michael, and when he is not on the field, the bandage will be worn by someone else. But the captain will remain Michael, "said Mourinho.
"In his absence, the bandage can try on players like Valencia, Herrera, Pogba, Ashley Young and Smalling. But this season we have only one captain ".
35-year-old Carrick plays for Manchester United since 2006.
