Former Liverpool executive director Rick Perry said that in due time the club could acquire the defender Dani Alves.
The Brazilian fullback will soon join Manchester City after a long and successful career in Barcelona and a remarkable season in Juventus.
Nevertheless, the career of Dani Alves could have developed quite differently - this was told by the former executive director of Liverpool, Rick Perry.
"We had already agreed on a deal with Dani Alves, but we had a choice: to get two players at once, or to spend everything on one football player," Perry said..
"Alves was not what he is today, but he always looked like a player with a great future".
"Would his transfer be better than the acquisition of Peter Crouch and Jermain Pennant?" Probably yes. But the rear mind is always easy to draw conclusions, "- summed up the former boss of the Reds.
