Cahill spends 100th match for the national team of Astralia

Legendary midfielder Tim Cahill became the second Australian to reach the milestone of 100 matches for the national team.

Ex-striker Everton went to the starting line-up of the Australian national team against Chile in the third round match of the group stage of the Confederation Cup.

Thus, the captain holds the 100th match for his national team. 37-year-old football player made his debut for the national team of Australia in 2004.

Cahill, who now plays for Melbourne, became only the second player in the history of the Australian national team, which was subjected to this line. Legendary goalkeeper Mark Schwartzer played in 109 games for the national team.
