The head coach of Portugal Fernando Santos is worried that the left-back of the team Rafael Guerreiro was seriously injured in the match with Russia (1: 0).
Guerreiro was replaced by Eliseu in the 66th minute of the match against Russia because of complaints of pain in his left leg.
"We suspect that this may be a turning point," said Fernando Santos.
"It can affect the beginning of the next season for Raphael. We are upset, because this is a great guy and a very good football player. I hope that the examination in the hospital will show that everything is not so serious ".
In a duel against Russia, Guerreiro scored a pass to Cristiano Ronaldo, thanks to which the Portuguese won 1: 0.
