Defender Atalanta Andrea Conti is close to the transition to Milan.

The interest of Milan to Conti became known in mid-May. In early June, it was reported that Milan agreed with the 23-year-old defender on terms of personal contract.

As informs Corriere di Bergamo, Milan will pay Atalante for the Italian 25 million euros. Also, the transaction will provide for various bonuses.

It is expected that officially the transfer will be announced this week. Conti will sign a contract with the new club for five years and will receive two million euros per season.

In the season that ended, Conti scored 8 goals and 5 assists in 33 Serie A games.
