Lucescu requires Zenit 4 million and threatens to apply to FIFA

At the end of last season, Lucescu was dismissed from the post of head coach of the St. Petersburg club. At the same time, the contract with the Romanian mentor is still not legally terminated.

Mircea wants to receive compensation in the amount of 4 million euros for his early dismissal, but Zenit pay 71-year-old specialist refuses.

Lucescu himself has already stated that he is ready to apply to FIFA if his demands are not met, - the Romanian publication Ziare.

About Mircea's resignation became known on May 28. His place was taken by the titled Italian Roberto Mancini.

As a result of last season, Zenit led by Lucescu finished the Russian Championship in 3rd place.
