Carvajal: It's a shame that Pepe did not say goodbye to Bernabeu

Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal commented on the departure of the Portuguese Pepe from the creamy camp.

34-year-old Pepe, who has been in favor of Real Madrid since 2007, has not managed to come to terms with the club about a new contract, despite the desire to stay in the Spanish capital.

"Pepe played in Real Madrid for 10 years and gave everything to this club. It's a shame that he did not play a farewell match at home stadium. Pepe there would receive an appropriate ovation from the fans, "- quotes Carvajal Football Espana.

In the season that ended Pepe played in the Spanish championship 13 games, scoring two goals and giving one assists.
