Jermain Defoe, who became a free agent after Sunderland's relegation to the Championship, is close to transferring to Bournemouth.
"Obviously, many already know about this. I underwent a medical examination and everything will be announced after I return from vacation in July, "Defoe said..
"I think it would be wrong with the Sunderland fans to say right after the flight:" Yes, I'm moving to another club ". Everything has its time".
Earlier it was reported that Defoe signed with Bournemouth three-year contract, according to which will earn 65 thousand pounds a week.
In the past season, 34-year-old Defoe spent for Sunderland 37 games in the Premier League, which scored 15 goals and gave two assists.
