Madrid Atletico will not be able to buy players in the summer transfer window.
Atletico, like Real Madrid, was punished for breaking the rules when registering football players under the age of 16. As a preventive measure, both clubs received a ban on carrying out transfers within 2 windows.
Both clubs filed an appeal and before Real allowed to buy players in the summer transfer window. The same outcome was expected and Atletico.
However, as reported by Spanish media, the Sporting Arbitration Court decided to retain Ban Matrasnikov. This means that the team will not be able to acquire players in the summer of 2017, which excludes the transfer of forward Lyon Alexander Lakazetta.
