Midfielder Wellington Neme, owned by Shakhtar and campaigning for Sao Paulo on loan, dropped out for a month due to a knee injury.

In a duel against Corinthians, in which Sao Paulo lost by 0: 2, Nem was injured and left the field already in the 19th minute.

At the moment, the Brazilian is in the clinic, where he underwent a meniscus examination, which showed that soon he would be discharged home.

Nevertheless, Velington will have to spend at least a month outside the football field.

As reported by Globo Esporte, in the worst case this injury can knock Nema out of action and for two months.

Moving to Brazil proved to be very unfortunate for Velington in terms of damage. Already in his first match for Sao Paulo in November, he was injured and out of action for four weeks. Now the player is waiting for recovery.

Since the transfer to Sao Paulo, Nem played 13 fights for the club, failing to distinguish himself with either goals or assists.
