Defender Atletico Jose Maria Jimenez flew for about a month.
Jimenez was injured in an away match against Las Palmas (5: 0). Then the 22-year-old football player landed unsuccessfully on the lawn and left the field in the 67th minute of the fight.
As Matrasnikov's official website informs, after passing the medical examination, the player was diagnosed with damage to the hip muscle of the second degree.
The press service of the Madrid club does not report exact terms for the restoration of the defender, however according to AS, Jimenez will miss 3-4 weeks.
Thus, the player will not be able to help his team in the remaining matches and will not play against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
In the current season, Jimenez held 27 matches for Matrasnikov in all tournaments, scored one goal and gave 1 assist.
