Dynamo Moscow head coach Sergei Rebrov could not attend the press conference after the game with Nikolayev (4-0) due to a huge crowd of fans.
In the semifinals of the Ukrainian Cup Dynamo defeated Chernomorets 4: 0. The match was marked by a small scandal: the head coach of Kiev Sergey Rebrov did not appear at the post-match press conference.
Official site Dynamo explained the reasons for this incident. It turned out that Sergei Stanislavovich simply could not get to the press conference because of the huge crowd wishing to take his autograph.
The event took place in the conference hall of the hotel, located near the stadium. It is reported that all security attempts to clear the way for Rebrov to a press conference through the crowd of fans were in vain.
According to the decision of security services of both clubs, Rebrov gave his comment to the official teletranslator of the match and local club television.
The organizers of the game brought their written apologies for the incident - failure to properly attend a regular press conference.
