Sergey Lapin, head of the team of absolute heavyweight champion Alexander Usik (24-0, 15 KOs), expressed his opinion about the Ukrainian victory over the last owner of the IBF title Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KO).
According to Lapin, the Ukrainian athlete successfully implemented the planned battle.
" What happened in the ring became the natural result of the hard work of the champion, his devotion and discipline, as well as a reasonable, based on the data approach to preparation.
While the opponent’s team promised to bring chaos to the ring, we focused on bringing order, ”Lapin quotes Sky Sports as saying.
Usik knocked out Dubois in the fifth round and for the third time in his career won the title of absolute champion.
We will remind, earlier Hirn shared his vision of the further career of Usyk.
