Chile striker Alexis Sanchez scored an extraordinary goal in a friendly match against the national team of Paraguay. The leader of the Chileans in stoppage time for the second half, with the score 2:2, went to take a corner. Instead of a cross, Sanchez decided to shoot into the near corner and was rewarded for his courage.. Paraguayan goalkeeper Antoni Silva made a funny mistake and hit the ball right into his own net. The game ended with a 3-2 victory for Chile..
The most interesting thing is that Sanchez scored a similar goal against the same goalkeeper with a direct kick from a corner in the 2022 World Cup qualifier in November 2021.
Earlier it was reported that in Chile, the goalkeeper scored a curious goal across the entire field, which can get into the Guinness Book of Records.
