Ukraine won six more medals at the 2022 World Games On the seventh day of the 2022 World Games, Ukraine added six medals.

Daria Ivanova won a bronze medal in WAKO kickboxing, reports the website of the Sports Committee of Ukraine.

Then another Ukrainian athlete won her “bronze” final.

Alina Martynyuk defeated a Belgian in the fight for third place in the weight category up to 60 kg.

After the girls, Roman Shcherbatyuk got down to business.

In his fight for the third place on the podium, the Ukrainian very confidently dealt with the representative of Finland, who withdrew from the fight in the third round so as not to be knocked out.

Ukrainian WAKO kickboxers lost both finals.

Orfan Sananzade lost to the Mexican in the weight category up to 63.5 kg, and Vitaly Dubina in the weight category up to 75 kg could not defeat the Israeli.

Yaroslav Tkach won a bronze medal in speed climbing.

He qualified with the second time. In the quarterfinals, he defeated two-time world champion Ukrainian Daniil Boldyrev.

In the semi-finals, he lost to the representative of Indonesia, but won the fight for the “bronze”.

Three days before the end of the World Games, the Ukrainian team set a record for the number of medals won at the World Games.

According to the results of six days, Ukraine won 32 awards.

XI World Games in non-Olympic sports are hosted by the American city of Birmingham. The competition will last until July 17.
