A 27-year-old boxer originally from Kyiv sold the championship belt at a charity auction to help orphans from the Donetsk region who were left without a mother due to a full-scale Russian invasion.

Sirenko's title went under the hammer for 70,000 hryvnias, reports Tribuna. com.

All funds earned at the auction have already been transferred to 18-year-old Vyacheslav Yalov from the village of Verkhnetoretskoye, Donetsk region. The boy's mother died in his arms from injuries sustained as a result of a Russian shell explosion..

Now the young man independently takes care of four younger brothers and sisters. Earlier, Sirenko spoke about the heroism of the Azov regiment. The heavyweight said he feels proud to live with these guys at the same time and in the same country.

Recall that now Vladislav is preparing to return to the ring. The boxer had his last fight in December 2021. Then Sirenko defeated his compatriot Andrey Rudenko, winning the WBO Asia Pacific title and defending the WBC ABC Asian Heavyweight Championship belt.
