WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk spoke about how he is setting up for a rematch with Briton Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian boxer noted that the war with Russia would be a serious motivation for him:.

" I can disconnect from certain things that prevent me from reaching my goal..

But what is happening now at my house will motivate me very much in the gym, in training. After prayer, I am motivated by the fact that I must help my people, my country, I must please them" - Usyk quotes Sport Arena with a link to Blockasset.

The champion also noted that his team is studying the contract and the date and venue of the fight will soon become known:.

" In the near future, everything will be announced, and there will be a signing of the contract. I don't know where the fight will take place yet, I don't want to mislead fans and people.

As soon as we study the contract, people will receive information"

Recall that on September 25 last year, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision and took away all his titles from the Briton.. The champion returned to Ukraine and joined the territorial defense after the start of the Russian military invasion, but later left the country in preparation for revenge.
