The 2000 Olympic champion Audley Harrison shared his expectations from the rematch between the Ukrainian WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Anthony Joshua.

" Ukraine has a history of raising good boxers. Anthony says: " I think he really needs to act like this, but he has to do it with the right attitude..

There are a lot of tricks that Joshua has to use in this fight.. He can't just close his eyes and lean on Usyk.. For example, if he does not use the jab, then Usyk will go to his own distance and simplify tasks for himself. Every time Alexander closes the distance, Anthony has to beat him and get out of the line of attack. In the first fight, Joshua did nothing of the sort.. I doubt Anthony can just jump on him and knock him out. It will take a lot of effort Joshua is not like Tyson, going to victory at any cost, or Ricky Hatton, who can decide the outcome of the fight with one blow. Joshua doesn't have that style. So I think he needs to add some basics to his arsenal and also have a clear plan of action..

Still, this is not enough, because he must also have a backup plan for this fight if the first one does not work.. He must have plans A and B. This is the only way to count on success,"

Earlier it was reported that Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn named a potential date and place for a rematch with Usyk. The fight will be announced soon.

On the night of September 26, Usyk defeated Joshua in London by unanimous decision - 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113, and won the IBF, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight titles. After that, the Briton activated the option of revenge, prescribed in the contract for the first fight..

The 35-year-old Usyk has 19 wins (13 by knockout) in 19 fights. He held three of them in the heavyweight division.. Before that, Alexander became the absolute world champion in the cruiserweight (weight category up to 90.7 kg), having won all four of the most prestigious belts there..

Joshua, 32, has 24 wins (22 by KO) and two losses.. For the first time, AJ lost in June 2019 to Andy Ruiz, but in December of the same year he defeated the Mexican in a rematch and regained his titles.
