On the fourth day of the 2022 Winter Paralympics in Beijing, the Ukrainian team won 9 medals.

In women among the participants with lesions of the musculoskeletal system (standing class), the entire pedestal was occupied by Ukrainian women: gold was won by Irina Bui, silver - Alexandra Kononova, bronze - Lyudmila Lyashenko.

In men who competed in the category with visual impairment, the entire top five remained with the representatives of Ukraine. Vitaly Lukyanenko (class B3, guide Babar) received his second gold of the 2022 Paralympics, Anatoly Kovalevsky (class B2, guide Mukshin) won silver, and Dmitry Suyarko (class B2, guide Nikonovich) won bronze.

Silver medals were won by Grigory Volchinsky (class LW8) and Oksana Shishkova (class B2, Marchenko guide). Bronze medal was won by Taras Radi (class LW12).

Thus, Ukraine is in second place in the overall medal standings..

The Ukrainian team has already won 17 medals at the 2022 Paralympics - six gold, seven silver and four bronze.

Recall that four years ago in Pyeongchang Ukrainians won 22 medals - 7 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze.. The Ukrainian team took the sixth team place in the medal standings.
