The legendary Ukrainian football player and coach Andriy Shevchenko did not hold back his emotions live on Italian TV while discussing Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
" It's a horror that makes you want to wake up. Cities are bombed, children and old people who cannot leave are killed. It seems like a terrible dream, it seems that tomorrow I will wake up and return to normal life, but I understand that this will not happen. Now this is reality.
Ukraine wants to be part of Europe. It was our decision. Zelensky is a great president who leads us to our freedom and independence,"
