The form was recreated with the participation of sports designer Dmitry Shtrais. The Pitmen have already presented three out of seven sets of equipment - 1937, 1961 and 1975.

Shakhtar finished the 2020/2021 season in 2nd place in the Ukrainian Premier League. The Pitmen will play in the Champions League qualification in the next campaign.

This season the Donetsk team did not win a single trophy, losing all three to Dynamo Kiev.
