The Be brothers triumphed in the sprint at the start of the World Cup, Ukrainians did not get into the top 30

On December 1, a men's sprint took place at the first stage of the 2019/20 Biathlon World Cup in Swedish Ostersund.

The Ukrainian team was played by Dmitry Pidruchny, Artem Prima, Anton Dudchenko, Ruslan Tkalenko and Taras Lesyuk. The best of ours was Artem Prima, who finished 35th.

The victory was won by the current holder of the Big Crystal Globe Norwegian Johannes Be, who was 19 seconds ahead of his older brother Tarje. The third was the Russian Matvey Eliseev.

The women's sprint will also take place today, at 16:30 Kiev time.
