The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) disqualified Russian athletes Yulia Gushchin and Anna Nazarova for doping.

The decision was made after Turinabol was found during the re-examination of doping tests from the 2012 Olympics, VFLA reports.

Gushchina was disqualified for 4 years from the moment of suspension - March 27, 2017, her results from the fall of 2011 to the winter of 2014 were canceled.

Nazarova suspended from the competition for 2 years, but her sentence has already expired, since in May 2017 a temporary suspension was approved. Its results from the summer of 2012 to the summer of 2014 are invalid.

Gushchina is the 2008 world relay champion (indoor), and Nazarova holds the 2011 Universiade title (long jump).

Recall, the Director General of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) Yuri Ganus confirmed that the data of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory were changed before being transferred to the experts of the International Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
