Ukrainian karateka faces 8 years imprisonment

The champion of Ukraine on karate Jaroslav Gorun can receive a long prison term.

Titled Ukrainian athlete faces up to 8 years of imprisonment because of an unfortunate incident in the cinema. Goruna broke the frontal bone of a man who, in his opinion, explained something too loudly while watching a movie.

This was reported by journalist Igor Levenshtein on his Facebook page.

Gorun, who is a member of the national team of Ukraine, because of this case is forced to miss the European Championship. At the moment, law enforcers reported suspicion of causing grave injuries.

Now Gorun is at large after making a pledge of UAH 105,000.
