"Shakhtar" was interested in 19-year-old midfielder "Sao Paulo" Marcinios Cipriano.
This is reported by the Brazilian edition of UOL Esporte.
It is noted that the parties are close to signing the agreement, and the publication called the football player "one of the main young hopes of the club".
However, the contract will be preliminary, because the current agreement Cipriano with the club is calculated until September 2018.
It is expected that in the fall Cipriano will join the miners as a free agent, and the contract will last for four years.
