The fourth racket of Ukraine Katerina Kozlova made her way to the final of the WTA International tournament in Taipei with a prize fund of 250 thousand dollars.
In the semi-final, Catherine played against former 12th racket of the world Sabin Lisicki, who now returns to tennis after a serious injury.
The match ended with a score of 7: 5, 6: 4 in favor of the Ukrainian.
Thus, Catherine will compete for her first ever WTA title.
Earlier, Ekaterina Kozlova played twice in the semi-finals in the WTA-tour: in 2016 in Istanbul and Tashkent.
For the second ticket to the decisive duel of the competition will compete Timaea Babosh (Hungary) and Wang Yafan (China).
Note that at the competitions in Taipei was going to play Elina Svitolina, who was supposed to defend last year's title. However, after the Australian Open, she decided to abandon these competitions.
