Undefeated Ukrainian light heavyweight Alexander Gvozdik will fight for the WBC title.
President of the World Boxing Council (WBC) Mauricio Suleiman officially confirmed the holding of the tournament for the title of world light heavyweight champion.
So, in this tournament will meet the world champion in the version of the WBC Adonis Stephenson and Badoo Jack, who owns the WBA Super title, as well as the Ukrainian Carnation and the Colombian Eleider Alvarez.
Winners of both matches will hold one more fight to determine the strongest. The owner of the championship title will be known not later than June 2018.
According to preliminary information, the Carnation - Alvarez fight will be held February 16 in the US.
Recall, Gvozdik recently climbed to the third place in the ranking of IBF.
