Canadian club "Toronto Maple Leafs" has concluded an agreement with the bank "Scotiabank" on the branding of the home arena for $ 800 million.

It should be noted that this treaty has in mind for the next 20 years to refer to the home arena of "maple leaves" as "Scotiabank Arena". At the moment this arena is called "The Air Canada Center".

The agreement between the bank and the hockey club will come into force on July 1, 2018.

Earlier, the largest transactions to rename the arenas were Citi Field in New York and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which cost sponsors $ 20 million annually.

Add and the fact that, in addition to NHL matches, this arena hosts matches of the NBA Basketball Championship.
