Captain of the Ukrainian team Kirill Fesenko will miss Eurobasket-2017. Reason - injury.
Disappointing news became known after a detailed examination of the left knee center. It showed damage to the cartilage of the knee joint.
After consulting with doctors, Fesenko decided to perform the operation. According to the doctors' forecasts, recovery after such damage and operation will take at least a month. Eurobasket-2017 will be held from August 31 to September 17 in four countries: Israel, Romania, Turkey and Finland.
Group of the Ukrainian national team will play in Israel. Our rivals - Lithuania, Georgia, Italy, Germany and Israel.
