US senators called on FIFA president Gianni Infantino to deprive Russia of the right to host the World Cup in 2018.
The main reason the Senate calls is that Russia is using forced labor of North Koreans, whom the DPRK government sent to Russia to build stadiums.
In a document published by Senator Bob Menendez's press center from the Democratic Party, it is noted that North Korean workers will not receive a penny for their work.
"The protection of workers and athletes from forced labor must be a key element of these commitments. If FIFA fails to take action against Russia and North Korea, it will be perceived as a tolerance for the abominable practices of these countries, "noted the senators.
Recall, Russia received the right to host the 2018 World Cup in 2010.
The tournament is scheduled from June 14 to July 15. He must pass in 11 cities of Russia.
