Team Portugal won the Mexican team in a match for the third place in the Confederations Cup - 2017.
The meeting took place in Moscow and ended in extra time with the score 2: 1 in favor of the Portuguese.
In the first half of the game the teams did not score a single goal. After the break, the Portuguese defender Luis Neto first hit the gate of his team (55). However, at the end of regular time Ricardo Quaresma made a pitch on Pepe, who sent the ball into the corner of the goal of the Mexicans (90) and equalized the score.
In extra time Adrien Silva realized a penalty in the gates of the Mexicans (105) and brought the "bronze" of the Portuguese national team at the Confederations Cup-2017.
After that, the teams remained in the minority: first the second yellow card was given to Portuguese Nelson Semedu, then - the Mexican Raul Jimenez.
Note that in the first half the goalkeeper of Mexicans Guillermo Ochoa beat off a penalty (for the first time in the history appointed after the video review) in the performance of Andre Silva.
