The Ukrainian team was awarded a number of awards at the World Championships in checkers-100 in blitz, which was held in Izmir.
On the last day of the competition, the men's team of Yuri Anikeev and Artem Ivanov won gold medals.
Anikeev also received an individual award and became a silver medalist, ahead of the multiple world champion from Russia Alexei Chizhov.
The women's team also won awards here. Olga Baltagi and Victoria Motrichko won the "silver".
Recall that Anikeev appealed to the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) in Lausanne in the case against the International Drafts Federation (IDF), which for 3 years disqualified the Ukrainian for fictional quotes and embroidery.
