The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine recognized gymnast Oleg Vernyaev as the best sportsman in April. This was reported by the official website of the NOC.

The best coach was a personal gymnast instructor Gennady Sartinsky.

In April, Verniaev successfully performed at the European Championships in Romania's Cluj-Napoca, where he managed to take two "gold" - in individual all-around and bars, as well as take third place in the base jump. In addition, the Ukrainian managed to win the gold medal in the all-around World Cup in London and win the world test.

This is the ninth award in the career of Vernyaev from the NOC of Ukraine. According to this indicator, the gymnast caught up with fencer Olga Harlan.
