Ukrainian Elina Svitolina won in the second round of the tournament in Istanbul, where her rival was the Romanian Alexandra Kadantsu.
Svitolina received the first number when sowing and confirmed the status of a favorite, compensating her mistakes with a high level of skill. Ukrainka looked better in long rallies and controlled the situation, as a result of which she won in two sets.
This is the second in the career of Svitolina, an exit in the quarterfinals of the Istanbul tournament. Another rival of Odessa will be another Romanian - the fifth racket of the competition Sorana Kirstia.
