90-year-old Maria Skitsko from Vostnitina, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, gave more than 12 thousand hryvnias from her own pension to the UAV for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman personally survived the pain of the war, because during the Second World War lost her father. Since then, with special attention has been following events at the front and worried about the fate of Ukrainian defenders.

This was told by her daughter Tatyana Skitsko, who is engaged in volunteer activities, in a commentary " During the collection of funds for drones, she shared with her mother that there was not enough money for another apparatus for the Ukrainian military. Then her mother took out a knot from under the pillow with pension savings wrapped in a scarf, and gave them to the purchase of a drone.

" Because we all convey ten pieces. I say: " Mom has thought about something for herself. Then I look-she pulls out her overseas from under the pillow-a twisted scarf in which she folds herself a pension. Tells me: " At least someone will save dad, ”Tatyana said.

According to the volunteer, her mother is difficult to raise funds from pension, as she often buys expensive medicines, but decided to help with the defenders.

Tatyana remembered that she had brought the purchased drone home to show his mother. The woman first saw the drone and asked with surprise: \? Yes, where was it once?

Tatyana Skitsko has been helping the army since 2014. After a full -scale invasion of Russia, she began to actively organize fees, buy drones and weave camouflage grids in Virkutin.

In 2024 alone, the public organization League of Ukrainian Women, the chairman of which is Tatyana, transferred 234 drones to the front, and since the beginning of 2025 - already 95 drones.
