On May 9, Dmitry Oleinik died during the fighting in the Kharkov direction, who heroically defended Ukraine from Russian aggression. The courageous defender was from Kremenchug, the Poltava region and after the beginning of a full -scale invasion voluntarily became into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The deceased warrior served as an arrow-assistant grenade launcher and served in one of the units that defended the borders in the Kharkivshchina. The tragic loss was reported only on May 23 at the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Kremenchug.

Residents of Kremenchug will be able to say goodbye to the fallen hero on Sunday, May 26. At 12:00, the farewell ceremony in the St. Mikravsky Cathedral will take place, and after an hour a burial with honors at the Svishtovsky cemetery will begin.
