Next week, January 20-26, warming will continue in Ukraine. The weather will actually be spring-like; in the southern regions the thermometer will rise to +11 degrees. So, in the south it will warm up to a record +11 degrees, which obviously exceeds the climate norm, says the weather forecaster.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, January 21 and 22, at night temperatures will fluctuate around zero degrees, -4...+2 degrees “due to less cloudiness”.
Daytime temperatures will be at +2…+8 degrees, in the southern regions and Crimea up to +11 degrees.
At the same time, due to slight night frosts and above-zero daytime temperatures, icy conditions are possible in the western regions in the coming days.
In other areas there is almost no snow cover.
“I don’t think that small minuses will have a big impact, due to the fact that there is not a lot of precipitation for something to freeze. Perhaps it will freeze locally somewhere, but no more,” predicts Natalya Ptukha.
