The European Union donated to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine personal protective equipment, including helmets and body armor, for a total amount of more than 977 thousand euros.

Since the end of February 2022, the EU, within the framework of the EU4IBM project, has consistently provided emergency assistance to support the work of authorities working at the borders of Ukraine.

The project, in particular, supplied a number of life support products, such as ready meals and first aid kits, as well as other equipment worth about 300 thousand euros for the State Border Guard Service and the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

Procurement is currently ongoing to meet other needs of the services, including the purchase of additional personal protective equipment, diesel generators, cameras, etc..
