After the war in Kharkiv, first of all, they plan to rebuild housing for people left without homes due to Russian shelling, Mayor Igor Terekhov told Suspіlny about this on March 30.

“Infrastructure is very badly destroyed. About 1,500 multi-storey buildings were destroyed, 15 hospitals, 59 schools, 63 kindergartens. After the victory will have to restore everything. Let's start with the housing stock. We understand that it is necessary to make buildings that are quickly assembled so that people can live normally in human conditions,” Terekhov said..

According to him, at first people will probably be settled in modular towns..

As for the restoration of the city's infrastructure, Terekhov noted that this would be a program not only for the city, but also for the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Today I met with the minister, I can say that on all issues we have a clear understanding of how we will act, in which direction to go. And immediately after the end of hostilities, after our victory, we will restore everything,” the mayor added..
