Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko urged to return to the city the men who left it with the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine. He stressed that the capital will defend itself and no one will put the people of Kiev on their knees.. “Many women and children have gone to safe places, this is understandable.. And many men who took away their families returned to the city. I'm reaching out to those who haven't done it yet! Kiev men! Come back! We must protect our city and our future! Rather than sit somewhere and sympathize! " He added that the efforts of every citizen of Kiev are now important.. Those who, with weapons in their hands, protect the city in the terrorist defense, who help build fortifications, cook food for our defenders and socially unprotected Kievans. \! "
