The National Police of Ukraine, the Armed Forces, together with the territorial defense and with the support of relevant ministries, are optimizing the number of checkpoints on the roads of Ukraine, said Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky.
" All checkpoints that are not included in this list will be removed.. In this way, the movement of traffic flows in the country will be improved.. This will save time, fuel, and most importantly, the strength and nerves of people, both civilian and military,"
He recalled that in wartime one cannot do without roadblocks, adding that he considers it completely justified to check documents and vehicles at the entrances to cities.
At the same time, Monastyrsky clarified that similar exit checks would be selective..
