The Verkhovna Rada sent for revision bill No. 2083-d "

314 parliamentarians voted for such a decision. We are talking about citizens living in territories temporarily beyond the control of Ukraine. For the adoption of the document in the first reading, only 184 parliamentarians voted.

The document provides a simplification of the procedure for proving the right to payment of pensions and its amount. To do this, it is proposed to abolish the obligation to provide paper documents for persons who are entitled to a pension and were forced to leave or leave their place of residence because of or to avoid the negative consequences of armed conflict, temporary occupation, widespread manifestations of violence, human rights violations and emergency situations.

The bill also proposes to abolish for this category of persons restrictions on the possibility of receiving an unpaid pension for only three years, including by heirs. The bill provides for taking into account the possibility of re-purchasing insurance experience without applying sanctions, doubling the amount of a single contribution.

The draft law also provides for the settlement of a special regime and the procedure for obtaining pensions for pensioners who remained to live in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmitry Kuleba said that the issue of paying pensions in the occupied territory of Donbass can only be resolved in the context of its de-occupation. Kuleba stressed that at the moment there is a mechanism for obtaining pensions, which requires recipients to leave the territory not controlled by the government of Ukraine.
