The National Anti-Corruption Bureau under the procedural leadership of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported suspicion to the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council. According to law enforcement authorities, the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council in July 2019 demanded that the businessman $ 400,000 for assistance in leasing the Brusnitsa recreation complex, which belongs to communal property, for rent. During August-October 2019, he received from the entrepreneur a part of the amount of $ 180,000.
