The former manager of PrivatBank received three years of imprisonment with a probation period of one year for the sale of client data. The court also deprived the man of the right to hold positions in banks, other institutions and enterprises related to access to automated systems for two years.

According to the verdict, the man, working as an operator (manager) in the PJSC CB "PrivatBank" in Lutsk and having the right of access to the Unified Client Base (ECB) of the bank, decided to earn some money on this.

Somewhere between February 20 and 21 of this year, the accused copied the information constituting bank secrecy from the ECB (name, first name, patronymic, photo, cash flow on the account), and sent him to the customer for a monetary reward of 400 hryvnias via Telegram. The next day, he similarly sent information about another client of the bank to the same customer. Concerning the customer there is a separate criminal proceeding.

At this the clerk did not calm down, and on February 26 he sent another customer's data to another customer. After this episode, the man fell into the hands of the police.

In court, the accused fully admitted his guilt.

The court turned out to be quite severe, and instead of the usual fine, he gave the man a suspended sentence, having found guilty of committing crimes,. 3 items. 354 (Acceptance of an offer by an employee to commit or not perform any actions using the position occupied), h. 2 and ч3 ст. 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Unauthorized interception or copying of information that is processed in electronic computers).

At the time of sentencing, the defendant was no longer an employee of PrivatBank and was listed as a storekeeper in the company that sells cars.
