In Kiev on May 24 on Khreshchatyk officially opened the fan zone of the Champions League, and on the main street of the country came two trophies for the winners.
On Khreshchatyk, with a standing ovation of fans and a hymn, the UEFA Champions League Cups. The trophy was held by the legend of the Brazilian national team Cafu and the ambassador of the Champions League final Iya Andrushchak.
Solemnly the fan-zone was opened by the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klichko. He gave the start to the "Festival of Champions". Also Klitschko gave the start to the Championship of Equal Opportunities. This is a tournament in which homeless teams take part. The match takes place within the framework of the UEFA company "EqualGame".
Fans are happy to take pictures with awards. It is worth noting that with the cup of the women's tournament you can take a picture only before lunch, because at 19:00 at the stadium, "Dynamo" has already begun the match itself.
Kiev is preparing to meet about 100 000 foreign tourists and 2000 international journalists, another 600 000 will watch the match from television screens.
