Experts warn that the number of cases of infection with Lyme disease in Ukraine is growing rapidly. And this infection is transmitted through the bites of ticks.
As is known, about 20% of iksodovyh mites carry the virus of Lyme disease, transmits TSN. That is, every fifth tick can be infectious.
At the same time, as experts note, Ukrainians are generally disposed to lightly and neglect safety rules.
Doctors do not like this behavior, because the consequences of the disease are very severe - up to paralysis of the whole body and death.
At the same time, the rate of spreading the danger in the world is alarming - in the US, Lyme disease has become the second fastest spreading virus.
Doctors recommend not to take the mites yourself, but to seek qualified help and be sure to examine the parasite in the laboratory for infections.
